Job Description


The Client


The Auto Audit Group  is a dynamic collective at the forefront of automotive services, asset protection, and insurance support solutions in East Africa. The group comprises three specialized companies:

  • Q360 – Motor Assessment & Valuation Services: An IRA-certified firm and the first in the region to integrate AI-powered digital valuations and remote inspections. It provides fast, transparent reports for insurers, brokers, and banks.

  • Dotify – Microdot Asset Protection: Utilizes cutting-edge microdot technology for asset tagging. These discreet dots are linked to a secure ownership database to protect vehicles and machinery against theft and fraud.

  • Axios – Extended Warranty Solutions: Provides products that protect vehicle owners from mechanical and electrical failures beyond the manufacturer's warranty, working with car dealers and fleet owners.


The Role


As the Group Business Development Manager, you will be the key driver of growth across all three business arms. This is a high-impact, target-focused role requiring deep knowledge of the insurance and automotive ecosystem and the ability to articulate complex technical value propositions such as AI-based valuation and microdot tagging; simply and effectively.


Key Responsibilities


1. Q360 – AI-Valuation & Broker Management

  • Strategic Relationship Building: Research, identify, and profile potential insurance brokers to build a consistent referral pipeline.

  • Solution Presentation: Present AI-driven valuation solutions to senior executives, underwriting teams, and claims managers, positioning them as faster, cost-effective alternatives to traditional methods.

  • Technical Onboarding: Support seamless client onboarding, training, and digital solution rollouts for insurance partners.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor broker-generated business performance to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.


2. Dotify – Asset Protection & Microdot Sales

  • Market Expansion: Identify and visit  car dealers, fleet operators, and individual clients to grow the adoption of microdot tagging.

  • Product Demonstration: Explain and demonstrate how Dotify’s technology secures assets against theft and fraud.

  • Brand Presence: Represent Dotify at automotive events, exhibitions, and trade fairs to promote asset protection solutions to a wider audience.

  • Service Excellence: Handle customer queries post-installation and follow up to ensure service satisfaction and database accuracy.


3. Axios – Extended Warranty Sales

  • Dealer Partnerships: Visit used and new vehicle dealerships to introduce Axios products and encourage the bundling of warranties with vehicle sales.

  • Customer Education: Educate both dealers and end-customers on the specific benefits and coverage details of extended warranties.

  • Sales Lifecycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and leading generation to closing deals and  after-sales follow-up.

  • Fleet Engagement: Engage directly with fleet owners to market protection against mechanical and electrical failures for large-scale operations.


4. Group Operations & Market Intelligence

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with tech and operations teams to tailor solutions and provide market feedback to improve AI tools and reporting templates.

  • Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets (KPIs) across all three business arms.

  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market intelligence to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor pricing, and emerging products in East Africa.


Skills & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field  (Master’s preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Business Development or B2B Sales, specifically within motor valuations, insurance, automotive, or related financial fields in East Africa.

  • Track Record: Strong, demonstrated history of closing deals and consistently  hitting aggressive sales targets.

  • Industry Expertise: Deep practical understanding of insurance processes  (underwriting, claims, fleets) or the motor dealer/asset finance ecosystem.

  • Tech Passion: Demonstrated passion for technology, AI, and digital transformation and the ability to articulate complex technical value propositions simply.

  • Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Mindset: Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Bonus: A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
