Jivan Wellness is seeking a Wellness Companion to serve as the heart of our new Nairobi sanctuary. In this "hybrid-elite" role, you will use your medical background to act as a Care Navigator. More than a concierge, you are the proactive advocate of the patient journey—ensuring guests stay on track with their prescribed treatments, supplements, and lifestyle protocols while navigating them through our elite clinical solutions.

The Client

Jivan Wellness is set to launch in Nairobi not just as a wellness clinic, but as a sanctuary for the modern mind, body and soul. We are redefining the wellness landscape by blending advanced clinical science with a profound commitment to restorative care, creating a space where health is curated and every guest is truly seen.


The Role

At Jivan Wellness, we don't just treat symptoms; we curate wellness journeys. As our Wellness Companion, you are the heartbeat of the clinic. You are the first face a patient sees and the guiding hand that navigates them through our premier facility and all its available solutions.

This is a "hybrid-elite" role where you possess the clinical literacy to understand complex medical treatments and conditions, along with the sophisticated hospitality experience and knowhow of a luxury concierge. You aren't just managing appointments; you are managing the patient experience from "hello" to "wellness." This is not a role of transactions, but one of transitions—guiding our guests from the overwhelm of the outside world into a state of intentional wellbeing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome & Discovery: Serve as the first breath of calm for our guests. You will hold space for them, listening deeply to their needs and intentions before they see a clinician.

  • Clinical Navigation: Using your medical foundation, you will gently weave together our clinical offerings into a      cohesive journey, ensuring every test and treatment feels like a step toward wholeness rather than just a procedure.

  • Health Literacy: Confidently explain the "why" behind our protocols (e.g., explaining the metabolic benefits of therapy or the necessity of specific blood panels) without sounding like a textbook.

  • Patient Advocacy: Act as the liaison between the patient and any other medical specialists at or outside the Clinic. You ensure the transition from the lounge to the treatment room is seamless and stress-free, ensuring the human element of care is never lost in the ‘science’.

  • Protocol Guardianship: Act as the proactive steward of the patient's journey. You are responsible for ensuring the      patient receives the treatment they need and for keeping a close tab on any "hiccups"—specifically identifying and resolving instances where a patient may not be following their prescribed protocol, supplements, diet, or exercise plan.

  • Relationship Continuity: Manage post-treatment follow-ups, becoming the "trusted advisor" the patient calls when they want to book their next session. You will help the patient see the tangible improvements in their well-being after following the recommended protocol.

  • Boutique Management: Oversee the flow and "energy" of the clinic, ensuring that privacy is respected, comfort is constant, and the ambience remains a sanctuary of peace.


Skills & Experience

  • Education: A Degree or Diploma in Nursing, Clinical Medicine, or a related health science. You must know your way around a lab report.

  • Experience: 3+ years in a high-end environment. This could be a VIP hospital wing, a luxury medical spa, or international premium aviation (e.g., First Class Crew) with a medical background.

  • Skillset: Exceptional verbal communication to translate the ‘why’ for clients. You are persuasive but empathetic. You "read the room" instantly.

  • Mindset: You are a problem solver; If a specialist is running late, you’ve already offered the patient a bespoke refreshment and engaged them in a meaningful conversation before they’ve even noticed the delay.

  • Local Savvy: Deep understanding of the Nairobi high-net-worth market and the expectations of premium clientele.
